My son now almost a year and a half wants to be an independent eater but has yet to master the spoon. Pouches are the solution for us, especially since he never liked any puree I made. Sprout produces an amazing vegetable based product that doesn't have tons of fruit in it, which is a nice change from other brands. My son sucks them down in no time! I buy a variety of Sprout's vegetable intermediate foods and so far they've all been a hit. I wish there were more in the pack than 5 to make the cost more reasonable. Still worth it for me though and my son gets all the vegetables he needs!

My daughter is breast fed, is 10 months, and will barely eat most solids. She make take a few bites here or there, but not much. This is the first container of baby food that she actually finished...and in record timing! Like 2 minutes! They are a little more expensive then other baby foods, but it has a great mixture of fruits and veggies, most of which you can not find pureed in other baby brands. Plus she actually likes it...and it's good for her. Couldn't ask for more.

Sprout foods are of such high quality! I am so glad they came up with these squeezable pouches (in addition to their zip-lock pouches of food). These are great for on-the-go. Sprout is very creative in their flavor combinations, offering a refreshing alternative to the run-of-the-mill flavors of other brands. I also love that they have cereal in addition to fruit, and that they are on the larger size. My toddler needs bigger and more substantial portions now, and these fit the bill. I tried the Plum, Berry, Brown Rice and Quinoa, and my toddler loves it (I tasted it and it's delicious, creamy and fruity). The only thing you should keep in mind is that these also have bananas--not listed in the product's title, but featured in the picture. Sometimes I'd like to have a thicker puree like this one without bananas, but this is not the case.
