I read about this product off of a Food Inc. post regarding organic baby formula, and it seemed across the board that this was the best brand. Don't let the "toddler formula" fool you. The company puts that on their to encourage breastfeeding in babies. Every heard of a company discouraging product use?! Me either! It is perfectly safe and healthy for your infant, as not all of us are able to breastfeed, it is a great second choice...or first!

Ok, it's hard to 'Love' formula - but when you need to augment breastfeeding - or need something to have on hand for long trips - this is great. While it's marked 'Toddler Formula' it meets all the dietary requirements for infants. The company believes that mother's milk is the best for infants - so they don't market to mothers with infants. Very respectable.
I read several reviews about formula - specifically to find out what's really in baby formula. Even though I learned a lot about food manufacturing practices, labeling requirements and 'commonly accepted practices as a result of two dogs with some severe food allergies -I was still a bit surprised. Even in the 'Organic Baby Formula' world - there are many processes that aren't adhering to organic standards. I know we live in the real world where toxins are there, and there's no way to prevent some contact. I even known that too much of anything is a bad thing - but I really believe that babies should get the best food. I make my own baby food at home with a food mill and organic, locally grown fruits and veggies as much as possible - but until then I'll be feeding this to my daughter.
The one 'Con' is that it did constipate her slightly - so when she eats more formula than breast milk - she has an ounce of pear or prune juice (check with your doc on this) and it helps keep everything regular.
